ABOUT THIS CONTEST
We know people love to take pictures at Pecan Fest and we want to show off the finest ones. So we’re having a contest to find the photo that best captures the spirit of the festival. The coolest part? The public will be the judge! Here's how it works, simply upload your 2011 Pecan Fest photo here, get the most votes and WIN $200 cash!
Before you post your photo, make sure you have permission from anyone in it. After you post it, invite your friends to come vote! The person whose photo has the most votes by Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011 (and adheres to contest rules) will be announced as the winner on Oct. 3. We’ll also feature a selection of our favorites photos on our website!
The Pecan Street Festival is Austin’s oldest and largest FREE arts festival. It’s the bi-annual event where everyone gathers together to celebrate our community. The 30th Annual Fall Festival has more attractions than ever, with more than 60 bands, including headliner Nakia and the Tortilla Factory, the LEGO© Experience Tour, Doc Seaton’s Magic Sideshow, the Wahl Face the Day Tour, the GEICO Gecko, and much, much more.
